Congratulations Ed!
BTW, we definitely need more images in this thread.

You'd probably get more answers and possibly remedies over at the LUF M9 forum.

Noam, I don't know for sure if this will help, but I'd try too convert the M9 DNG in the free Adobe DNG converter before using Eric Chan's software. See if that works …

Hi Jack, I saw the link to the article on several fora and blogs today, it seems to attract a lot of attention, though I don't think Mr. Schulz said anything really new in this interview.
As for the numbers, I have a feeling that more than 1200 S bodies are being sold annually, but that's just guessing on my part. Anyway, nice publicity for the S.
Cheers,
Peter

Very nice images, David, thanks for sharing. I particularly like the colors in the long exposure after sunset on Smather's Beach. The blue sky is fantastic.
How many shots did you use for the focus-stacking?

Sorry to hear this, Marc. Wasn't there a thread here about the same issue? I think I recall someone mentioning that sending a file to Solms would suffice. Leica would map out the bad row and send you a firmware fix …

Hi Pete,
thanks for sharing these images. They look fantastic, and I personally like seeing the S being used for reportage/documentary.
I love the look of the 120 mm wide open and I think this approach gives the series a very distinctive look. Very interesting! I must say I find it very brave to use the lens like this, I would probably resort to f4.0 just to be on the safe side with focus …
Anyway, I think your choice for large aperture works really well. Was 1/4000 short enough, or did you have to use ND's?Thanks again, wonderful images of a very interesting place with beautiful people!

Thanks for sharing the DNG. Incredible DOF, nice color and contrast. Are you going to use the lens for landscapes?

Thanks for sharing, Rob. I'd be interested to see more of the 24 mm. BTW, I recognise the area where you took these, I used to live in Amsterdam for almost 25 years.

Georg, thanks for posting this wonderful shot. I really like the winter colors you captured, very nice atmosphere.
In the EXIF I noticed 1/60 shutter time. This was on tripod I presume? Incredibly sharp…

Unfortunately not an S2-owner, but I started to use Geotagr on my iPhone and it's a breeze.
Just turn on the App when you start shooting and stop it when you're done. You can export the GPS info and mail it to your workstation. Lightroom recognizes the file when you import it and will geotag your images.
Just remember to sync the time on your camera with your iPhone.
Easy to use and cheap, no extra device to bring along needed, if you have an iPhone, of course.
