This is indeed really cool stuff and good news. Expanding the bandwith of available lenses massivly.
I am wondering how this come together. There has to be some collaboration between Leica and Hasselblad to make this happen. Would be interesting to get some intel. 😉

I still would love to turn the wheel in the different direction when changing the aperture. Left handed.
I heard that Mr. Schulz means that nobody needs this, but I would love to have it because I am still, after using the camera for over a year, turning in 90% of the time, the wheel in the wrong direction.
These are only a few lines of code which has to be added. Shouldn't be that complicated.
PLEASE!

I am using the Ipad3 as well. When entering a SD Card with a DNG only I am able to import the file but whether Photo nor Iphoto is capable of resolving the file into something usefull. It stays as a pixelated image. Thinking about it, it is not about the hardware, it is about the software who would make it possible. Maybe I'm missing something here. 😉

It does not work with the S2 DNGs. 🙁

Really? I still shot when on the run with dng and jpg. I will instantly give it a try.

Awesome shot. Great work.
I have been to Haleakala, but without any proper pollution the moon wasn't that much bigger. 😉 On top of that 120mm is way to short for the moon.

Nice! I would love to lie on one of the rocks and taking a sun bath.

Thanks for the feedback. 🙂

The first one is more or less straight out of cam. I guess I increased the vibrance, but thats it.
On the second one I did some cross processing.

It is especially ironic in the context of Leica. Oskar Barnack invented the Leica specifically to get away from the bulky, heavy, tripod-bound camera. He was an asthmatic and wanted something convenient that he could carry around easily.
But as asked, why do you care? Sometimes I like to spent time to create a photo, it is part of my journey. Do I think it is the only way to make a photo? Definitely not. Most times there isn't that much time to do so. And you can continue this and continiue this and continue this… at the end I would say focus on your stuff and just dont care. Makes things easier unless you are on a mission. If the latter is true I wish you good luck. 😉

Why you are so angry? Why do you care? There are seven billion people on this planet and I could say I disagree with most of them. But we are only talking here about photography, not about world peace, so there is no reason to call anyone an idiot on a public platform.

Norman, I would go to your next real local Leica Dealer and let him handle the stuff with Solms directly. Get rid of Konjinenberg, forget about them. Solms will fix your problem and you start establishing a relationship with a real Leica Dealer where you will buy your next lens. So both parties will benefit. 😉

Cam the third one is super cool. I love the motion, the tonality and the colors. GREAT!

At the About page it says: “depths less than 20 feet”. Not usefull when you need it for diving.

Kurt, again some really nice pictures.
I'm already looking forward when at some point in your life you have to decide which one are the strongest you would like to put together in a book.
