Awesome shot. Great work.
I have been to Haleakala, but without any proper pollution the moon wasn't that much bigger. 😉 On top of that 120mm is way to short for the moon.

melantye;2090 wrote: Amazing colors! Just wow! could you share briefly how did you process these photos?
The first one is more or less straight out of cam. I guess I increased the vibrance, but thats it.
On the second one I did some cross processing.

Why you are so angry? Why do you care? There are seven billion people on this planet and I could say I disagree with most of them. But we are only talking here about photography, not about world peace, so there is no reason to call anyone an idiot on a public platform.

Norman, I would go to your next real local Leica Dealer and let him handle the stuff with Solms directly. Get rid of Konjinenberg, forget about them. Solms will fix your problem and you start establishing a relationship with a real Leica Dealer where you will buy your next lens. So both parties will benefit. 😉

Andrew, I think the words you have used in your letter are the right ones. It seems you had really bad luck with your camera. I had two issues with my body as well and found the people from Leica very dedicated to help me. I hope Leica will react to you and your issues accordingly and this means, beside giving you a working system, to communicate…[Read more]

I can't remember the difference in terms of brightness but I do know that I will never ever use the standard screen again. Manual focus is pretty easy.

Re the 30mm: I love it!
Think about the 35mm, add some minor weight, size and distortion and you have it. But you could ignore the last point as you have your lens profile in LR.
For me it is the Wide-angle focal length to go. I do need…[Read more]
