You are absolutely right Jack. Thank you for posting one. About all I could capture today was rain so didn't bother. Every year near 4th of July, the town I live in puts out thousands of american flags (similar to the one in your photo) along the median of the major streets. They have been doing it since I move here over 25 years ago and I am glad to see them keep up the tradition.

I am impressed with your focusing skills with the Nocti. I know from experience that it isn't easy nailing the focus point where you want it with that lens. The least amount of body sway or subject movement will throw it off due to the shallow dof.
So I see the model is wearing something reddish/pinkish in this latest crop whereas she is wearing white in the previous photos. Hopefully, you can share some more photos of this beautiful model.

Extremely well done David. Of course a beautiful model helps considerably. Thank you for the crop – it is much easier to see that the model has great eyes.

Interesting. You have me curious about what you may be photographing with this behind the scene look. Care to share more info?

David, thank you for the offer. I will take you up on it. However, I won't be bringing the zoom cause I haven't bought it yet. David was able to get a demo from Kelsey for the workshop but they are still scarce.
Please feel free to make us jealous with some more of your photo shoots.:D

Well done David. One of these days I will come to south Florida and come see you and your models rather than go to the Everglades. It's no wonder you didn't come to on the workshop – why go chasing beauty when it will come to you!

Thank you Roger. I wish you could have come along.

I figured it was time for me to show some of my photos especially since I had to leave early on Sunday and missed the slide show.
First morning sunrise.
S2, 30-90mm Vario-Elmar at 30mm, 2 image stack, Everglades, near Long Pine Key Campground
S2, 180mm, 3 image stack, I am posting 2 versions of this image – one as captured and another with diagonal blade of grass removed and white balance cooled a bit. I wanted to like the original, but something kept bugging me about it. I think I like the second version better.
S2, 35mm, Smathers Beach, One during late evening and another after sunset
S2, 180mm, Baby Gator, This image is a crop from a landscape orientation photo
S2, 30-90mm Vario-Elmar at 90mm, Mangrove on Big Pine Key after sunrise
S2, 30-90mm Vario-Elmar at 65mm, Dingy and Mangroves in Islamorada
S2, 30-90mm Vario-Elmar at 30mm, 3 image stitch panorama, near Long Pine Key Campground
S2, 30mm, Fort Jefferson, Dry Tortugus

Jack,
You should have joined us on the Everglades trip. It was the perfect location for the 24mm. I gotta get one.

Marc,
I had this happen on my S2 and Leica Germany used one of my DNG files to create a custom firmware. Also, future firmware updates do not affect the custom firmware.
