Arif, I may also be able to help you regarding your current affected images (i.e., images that you've already shot that show the purple line). I have a software tool which I can use to patch bad (partial) columns/rows in the raw data. Let me know if you're interested.

Hi Bobby, I have printed S2 images on an Epson 7900 without seeing the offset/crop issue you describe. I have printed from both Lightroom 3 and CS5 on Mac 10.6.8. So it should be possible … but it seems strange that this problem only occurs with your S files!

You can use high Detail amounts (even 100) with S2 files, but please do so carefully. High Detail means ACR/Lr will do its best to extract every ounce of detail & texture available in the file.
