Peter Dooling wrote a new post, Adobe Camera Raw 8.7 Released with Support for New Leica Products 10 years, 1 month ago
Today, Adobe released Camera Raw 8.7 and DNG Converter 8.7 RC (release candidate) with support for the following Leica products:
- Leica V-Lux (Typ 114)
- Leica SUMMICRON-S 100 mm f/2 ASPH (Leica S)
The CC and CS6 versions of ACR are available on Adobe's website immediately.
Hopefully this is an indicator that an Adobe Lightroom update will be coming soon with the same support.

Had the chance to shoot with the new X (Typ 113). With a wider aperture and a closer minimum focusing distance, you're able to get up closer to you subject and get more bokeh than you could with the X2.

Kirsten Vignes replied to the topic firmware issue in the forum Leica T 10 years, 2 months ago
Naper is correct. You downloaded a ZIP file from Leica's website, which you then extracted the .TUF file from. The file isn't readable by a computer. You simply transfer it to you camera's SD card and then put it into the T. I put together a step-by-step visual guide on how to update the firmware on the T since it's not very straight forward. If…[Read more]

From a friend's wedding last month. M Monochrom and 35mm f/1.4 at ISO 6400-
I think the black and white works well with the subject matter. You see so many weddings in full color and they all look the same. B&W gives it an art aspect and so different from the norm.

Lovely image Peter. The B&W gives the image a nice mood and feel.

Thanks Harry.

Thanks Mark, I agree about the mood of B&W. Very hard to pull off in such a dark room though. Thankfully I had the Monochrom!

First, I'd suggest using Adobe Lightroom, not Apple Photos to process the RAWfiles from the V-Lux. Secondly, the Col Effects apply only to JPGs generated in camera, not to RAWfiles. If you are shooting RAW only, you wouldn't see the effects in the computer.
Bill,
We always recommend shooting in RAW and processing in the latest version of Lightroom. LR5 is a bit long in the tooth. I'd suggest you subscribe to the Adobe CC Photography Plan which includes Lightroom Classic CC and Photoshop CC.
