Greece is an amazing country, but it can be very difficult to plan. As for transportation, I recommend booking reliable airport transfers to avoid stress. I've used https://aktis.taxi/Greece/Karpathos+Island+Airport+AOK before and it made things so much easier. Also be sure to leave room for spontaneous adventures – some of my best memories were unplanned.
