    That is a great question and something I have struggled with myself I think one of the biggest triggers is the feeling of being disrespected on the road Like when someone cuts you off or tailgates it feels personal even though most of the time the other driver is not thinking about you at all One thing that helps me is reminding myself that getting angry will not change anything Also if road rage ever leads to a bad decision like speeding or an unnecessary confrontation it is always good to know that a traffic defense attorney near you can help if things escalate I have learned that the best way to manage road rage is to take a deep breath and remind myself that arriving safely is more important than proving a point
