Sorry to report that I experienced the same with my 120CS today

Just installed the new firmware for the S2, and tested autofocus on 120CS and 180mm. I have to judge by memory only, but it seems faster and more precise. Maybe a little noisier, too? When focus changes are big, it seems to go brrrrr-br, with a short fine correction after a very brief pause. Only one incident of hunting (to macro) on the 120CS, otherwise precise and fast.
Curious to hear impressions from other users, would be very happy if AF is improved also on the S2, or am I just dreaming?

My local dealer today confirmed that there are two errors in Leica's documentation for the latest firmware update for the lenses (LLF016).
The corrected codes are:
Leica Vario Elmar-S 1:3.5-5.6/30-90mm ASPH
– 134.9.16.0Leica Super-Elmar-S 1:3.5/24mm ASPH.

Thank you for testing and confirming. I raised this with a Leica S representative in Europe, he found the question interesting, and should look into it.

Ooops, it is a fully electronic lens that won't work with a mechanical adapter…

I have a Mamiya APO 300mm F/4.5 IF on hand at a good price, it is supposed to work with the S2 via the L16025 adapter. Does anyone have experience with this lens on the S2? What will the actual FOV of lens be on the S2, given that it is made for a larger sensor?

As I just have one SF58 i cannot test it myself but there should be a way to do that.
As far as I understood, Leica has a special sales-person for the S-System. I suggest to contact the person for your country/region and ask for more detailled informations about this topic
I contacted Leica Norway, and they advised me to try M, but could not give a detailed answer. But if you have one SF58 you can test if it fires in TTL mode? Mine does not.

– ErlingMMSeems I have to answer myself: I have done some experimenting with 2 SF 58's, and the short answer is: Manual mode on the camera flash + M-slave mode on the other flash(es).
Again: The SF58 will not fire in TTL mode, in TTL-HSS + M-slave, the slave will fire on the pre-flash, which means it does not add to the actual shot.
The challenge then becomes metering. Both flashes give max output in manual mode unless they are set otherwise. I am sure there is some advanced meter that can measure the flash output from multiple flashes as they are fired, I just experiment in Manual mode on the S2 with a couple of shots until it looks right on the histogram.
