Can only get one of my two favorite shots from Day Three to upload…but there were other nice shots too. I'll try to get the second one up later.

Jeez Mark…thanks for sharing 🙂

The location for this shot was the roadside waterfall not far from the hotel. Since all the good spots at the roadside were taken…I climbed up the mountain to where the waterfall fed the pond. The good news is that I was out of the frame for all the roadside shooters. As you may recall…it was pretty much dark out when this shot was taken.
Edit: I think this might have been from the day before. It was on the corrupted CF card that Josh rescued for me so it doesn't have any exif info.

We really had some great spots to shoot this day. Here's one that I climbed half a mountain for…not my best shot of the day but the one I worked hardest to get. Also a bit different than what's been posted.

Mark,
Assuming you create your images by exporting a file in LR there is a drop down menu for Color Space in the File Settings portion of the dialogue box that pops up when you go to export. As Josh noted, this should be set to sRGB. Let us know if that does the trick.

Trying to find a few shots that aren't too similar to the excellent ones already posted. I liked these two from Day 1.

Is there any reason that you couldn't use a third party angle finder, e.g. Nikon, if you had a male/female adapter with the right threads? Shouldn't be impossible to get a machine shop to fabricate something like this. Or am I missing something obvious?

So, the variable density system costs several hundred dollars. What is you time worth in avoiding post work?Quick footnote…
The 120 macro requires an additional filter or spacer of some kind. I wound up buying a polarizing filter for it because that's what David and Josh had with them. By the time I was done with the variable density, ND, polarizing filter and rings it was a bit over $1k. The holder kit does come a 77mm ring so you can use it on a bunch of your Nikon lenses too. So I will recoup some of this cost by selling my 77mm Singh Ray vari-ND which, by the way, wasn't cheap either.
Roger, be happy to lend you my kit to play with when you're back in Jupiter.

Add my voice to Woody's and Roger's. Delays in lens deliveries I can understand…but micro prism screens and right angle finders…that can't be more than resource allocation on the part of Leica. This stuff is overdue…

Experimental shot to see what shooting in the dark looks like with an ND filter…

Couple of not so serious images…

It was probably a good idea not to give Josh all the cameras when we visited the BMW get together. Pretty good chance he would have traded our KIA van and a couple of S2's for a sportier ride 🙂

Here is a group shot and three samples of today's work. We photographed from 6 am to 7pm. Attached are roughly processed.
JackJack,
Having the devil of a time cloning everyone else out and making it look like it was just me and Kelsey 🙂

I'm far from a LR guru and still prefer a round trip to CS5 for most adjustments. But I'd be willing to bet a couple of bucks that Roger is NOT confused about anything in LR.

Nice shot Kurt and I really like the b&W conversion too.
