Hi Josh.. yes the batteries were physically stuck inside both the Body and the Grip but at different times.. returned to Solms under warranty.. it was a sudden occurrence both times with a battery change no problem for a few times then just no release with the button in the grip and the switch on the body. I have the Body with Solms just now and request the reason why this should have happened to equipment that would have bought a decent car.. wow Leica what type of QC do you have with the S2 ?
I will keep you posted with any reply I might get but they would probably be too embarrassed to give me the real truth.. are these parts sent out by demand without proper checks I wonder ?? the grip is Chinese.. hmmm !!! does that tell you anything ? - November 24, 2011 at 8:21 pm #1573
I used the extreme pro 16 and it seems a lot slower in my S2 than 8s however although it previews in the S2 ok it shows as 0 kbs when using a lexar card reader to mac resulting in no files for downloading.. any ideas ???

Hi.. I had the same problem with S2 and could not figure it out.. however after several on off attempts I find that it works correctly all the time now. I wonder if there is a possible conflict of data in the SC-28 on first contact which corrects itself through data flow. much like a PC warming up..?
