The Leica folks think that the wide angle lenses need to be calibrated to my S2-P body so everything is going to Germany next week, just as Al's did. If it comes back focusing properly, we know it is a defect or a design flaw.

I decided to travel light when visiting our son at college in Boston. I took only the X2 with me and I wasn't disappointed.

Well, that's a nice bit of news. I have been setting the mirror lock-up and self-timer together since I got my S2. Did I miss this in the manual somewhere or is this an Easter egg?

Correction – the Pano is a FIVE image stitch. 65 images? The sun would have set twice by the time I was finished.

I intend to use it as much as I can on assignments when the situation allows. If there was a shift lens I could eliminate my Nikon kit altogether. 🙁

This is a great suggestion. Thanks for the tip. I've been using MF almost all the time with the S2 because of its propensity to hunt. This should really help quite a bit.
