I have a 120mm, but this shot was from a roof on a building 9 miles from the St. Louis skyline, and it turned out that a 180 framed it perfectly. Cropping down from the 120 would have limited the enlargement ability of this. It is going 60″x40″
The detail holds up very well. This was just a test shot, but the clouds haven’t looked as good since. Oh, and given it was a test, I didn’t have my tripod with me. This is hand held and yes I wish I had used a tripod, but for anyone who says you can never shoot medium format hand held, I say you can if you must.
Print work was done by Joe as usual. And I borrowed his lens.
