Burglaries have become frequent in our neighborhood, and I thought about the security of my home. An acquaintance advised me to install protective film on the windows to make them harder to break. Has anyone already tried it? Does this film really help, or is it more marketing?

I put such a film on the windows a couple of years ago. Of course, it will not protect from professionals, but for ordinary cases, such as blows or attempted burglary, it is quite suitable. Outwardly not particularly noticeable, but the effect is there – the glass does not burst immediately, but cracked

I, too, have been thinking about installing protection for windows and have found that a fairly popular option is safety film for windows. This film helps to strengthen the glass, making it less vulnerable if there is a bump or attempted break-in. Of course, it won’t protect against everything, but it can really make it harder to access if someone tries to break through the window. You can find companies that do this on the internet, such as here
