I usually have a battery installed in my Leica M9 body, and have another spare battery in my camera bag, but sometimes it’s still not enough, I was wondering if there’s anyway to charge the M batteries on the go? just like those portable battery charger for mobile phones, but those ones are come with USB connector, doesn’t fits Leica M battery charger plugs. Is there anyway to charge Leica M batteries on the go? Thank you!
The battery charger for the M9-P comes with an adapter for use with the 12 Volt automobile accessory port. Works perfectly for me.
Read an account by a guy on safari in Africa who rigged up solar cells on his backpack that would charge spare batteries during the day. He was pretty popular with other members of the group… 🙂
