We got the new V-Lux (Typ 114) at Leica Store Miami today, so I took it out for a little spin around Coral Gables. Here’s a shot of a banded garden spider that I came across. This is a JPEG from the camera. I added a little contrast and sharpening in LR, but not much. So far, this camera is proving to be very impressive.

I often have difficulty with these close-ups in getting spiders and other critters in focus over the whole body (or most of it).
