Hey folks, I recently dug out some of my grandmother’s old photography gear (m3, summicron 50 and 90, summaron 35, and a Leica meter). Most of it is in great condition and seems to be operating properly. (Side note: any reason to bother with a CLA since it’s all been in a box for a decade at least?) Then there’s the meter. Therese no visible damage and I’ve replaced the battery, but I’m afraid it has some corrosion inside, as it is not yet working. What are the chances that it is repairable?

I know some will say not to bother because of the disadvantages of a camera mounted light meter, but there is an element of sentimentality here. So, if it is possible and less than exorbitantly expensive, I’d like to do it. Any recs?

    Thanks
