Leica QOfflineI’ve tried to shoot this 50 different times but the result was always meh. Today it seemed to work. Just a very simple photo of a corner of my room. There’s no vignetting here since the image was cropped on all 4 sides, yet there’s an optical illusion I see with some editors or viewers and not others – to the extreme left of the plant and about the same height is a dark vertical strip that seems to stay on the left side when viewing the image at 100 percent on a 1280×1024 monitor, and scrolling to the right. That dark strip should scroll off of the screen but doesn’t, with some viewers. f0.95, 1/360 handheld, ISO 800.
Leica X2 Paul Smith edition, Leica X-E, Panasonic ZS-100.
