I have discovered how many different ways cinnamon can be used in baking, and now I am curious. What is your favorite cinnamon baked good? Do you have a tried and tested recipe or do you like to experiment with cinnamon in different desserts? Please share any ideas or recipes where cinnamon plays a key role.
Cinnamon in baking is my weakness! I tried the recipe, baked cinnamon roll oatmeal with banana. It’s just the bomb! Take oatmeal, mix with milk, banana, sprinkle generously with cinnamon, about a teaspoon per cup of cereal, add a little sugar or honey if desired. You can roll out the bun dough thinly on top, sprinkle with cinnamon and butter and roll it up, and then put it on the oatmeal. Bake for about 25 minutes at 180 °C and it’s ready, the aroma is all over the kitchen! I like that it’s not difficult, and the taste is like in a coffee shop.
