Today, as part of their Photokina announcements, Leica has introduced the Leica S-E (Typ 006), a refreshed version of the current Leica S (Typ 006). The Leica S-E (Typ 006) features all of the same technical and operational specifications as the S (Typ 006), but is finished with an anthracite top cover, silver anodized dial and hot shoe, and comes in at a lower price point.
The Leica S-E (Typ 006) will be available in September 2014.
