This is my presentation of the features of the G-Star Raw edition of the D-Lux6 camera, with my understanding of how the pricing relates to the included extras. If I had any doubt about what value I’d be getting with this particular special edition, I don’t have any more. I always get the dress-up carrycase when available with these cameras, and since those are $160 USD extra with the D-Lux6, that accounted for part of the difference in price. The heavy-duty Leica wrist strap (in G-Star matching color here) is another $70 extra with the D-Lux6, but included with the G-Star Raw edition. So in sum I have a very high quality camera that’s also beautiful in appearance, I have the best accessories with it, and the photos I’m getting are excellent.
