After several hectic days, fatigue had caught up with me, and I sought respite at a nearby cafe. What immediately caught my attention was the QR code menu—an ingenious way to place an order seamlessly, all without the need for direct interaction.
With my phone in hand, I scanned the QR Menu code, and before me appeared a comprehensive, crystal-clear menu listing all the available dishes and beverages. Browsing through various categories and perusing enticing food photos was a breeze. Once I made my selection, I effortlessly added it to my cart, specifying the quantity and any additional ingredients.
The entire process was swift and uncomplicated, eliminating the need to wait for a server to take my order. My experience left me thoroughly satisfied, and I departed from the cafe feeling rejuvenated. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of a convenient and tranquil dining experience.

I don’t like it when cafes only have QR menus. It’s not always convenient to scroll through a menu on a small screen. And overall, I prefer a paper menu that I can hold in my hands.

What about the lack of interaction with waiters? Being able to place orders online might speed up the service process, but it’s not for me. I love talking to waiters, asking for recommendations, and finding out the ingredients of dishes. Plus, when I first went to a restaurant to try a ribeye steak, which I now cook myself using meat from https://www.gourmetfoodstore.com/wagyu-beef-and-specialty-meats/rib-eye-0967, I had no idea what it was and how it differed from other steaks. Thanks to the waiter who knew all about it and could explain everything. So, I don’t see the advantage of QR menus either.
