Downloaded WPS office on my m1 macbook air. What should I know about WPS office that is different than microsoft office that is most likely going to come up?
I regularly used WPS at work a few years ago. It probably had the best MS Office compatibility of any competing office suite at the time.

WPS Office is indeed an alternative to the well-known software but it’s made by Chinese developers. I’m not sure how convenient it is because I’m more comfortable with Microsoft 365. I also followed some advice from here https://setapp.com/how-to/update-microsoft-office-on-mac and set up automatic software updates. It turned out my issues with updates on mac were because I had to do them manually. I don’t know how that happened, but ever since I switched everything to automatic, checked the version of Microsoft 365, and all that, everything’s been working just the way I need it to.
