Given the recent success of the M (Typ 262) and 50mm Summarit promotional bundle that was released at the end of June, Leica has decided to add two additional sets. Both sets feature the 35mm Summarit ASPH, instead of the 50mm, for photographers preferring a wider field of view. One of the bundles pairs both a 35mm and 75mm Summarits for a very flexible and compact two-lens system.
Set 2 is priced at $8,495 and includes:
- Leica M (Typ 262)
- Leica Summarit-M 35mm f/2.4 ASPH
- Leica Summarit-M 75mm f/2.4
- Leica SF 40 Flash
- Leica System Case, Medium, Nylon Black
Set 3 is priced at $6,995 and includes:
- Leica M (Typ 262)
- Leica Summarit-M 35mm f/2.4 ASPH
- Leica SF 40 Flash
- Leica System Case, Medium, Nylon Black
All three promotional sets will be available until September 30, 2016.
This is still a great opportunity for photographers looking to get into the M system at a great price point. The M (Typ 262) features the same image quality as the M (Typ 240) but without video, live view or EVF capability, offering a streamlined M experience. The system case and SF 40 flash are a nice bonus.
